I do have several to share and decided to write about this one first ka.
This is about my former student whose life is quite successful and I just learned what happened to him during his 11 grade year, following him on Facebook. He shared his story that he was expelled from the school out of his GPA of 0.33, getting an F in every subject except one D! Yet, with excellent support and help from a friend, he was able to graduate from the faculty of economics, Chulalongkorn University. His two kids have got first class honors!
I was very impressed and told him I was very proud of him and that his one-time failure from the school must have been a great lesson learned for him to lead his life much better while serving as a source of inspiration for those who may feel they aren't smart studying in schools.
He agreed and said his .33 from his GPA was from a D I gave him then! I had no idea about it but felt both surprised and good na ka.
Unbelievably, it did mean a lot to him!
Have yet to talk with him further but I'm sure it may have allowed him to have a little hope!
